Move ELC

Our vision

At Move Early Learning, our vision is to provide every child with a high-quality early education that gives them the very best start in life. Everything we do is guided by our core values of Moving the Mind, Moving the Body, and Moving the Soul, creating a learning journey that supports children’s intellectual, physical and emotional wellbeing.

Our Philosophy

Building strong foundations

The early years are the foundation for a lifetime of learning. We create safe, nurturing and sustainable environments where children feel secure, valued and confident to explore the world around them. By fostering a strong sense of belonging and wellbeing, we help every child build the confidence to learn, grow and thrive.

Our Commitment
to Reconciliation

At Move Early Learning, reconciliation is an ongoing journey of listening, learning and growing together. We are committed to creating a culturally safe and inclusive environment where children, families and educators develop respect and understanding for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, histories, languages and connection to Country.

Through our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), developed alongside Narragunnawali, we embed reconciliation into our curriculum, daily practices and community connections. We proudly acknowledge the Ngunnawal people as the Traditional Custodians of the land and encourage children to develop respect for Country, culture and community from an early age.

Our RAP Pillars

Relationships

We build meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families and communities through authentic connections, cultural learning experiences and ongoing engagement with local Elders, Traditional Owners and community representatives. Our educators continue to strengthen their cultural understanding through professional learning.

Respect

Respect is woven into everyday experiences at Move Early Learning. We celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and contributions, acknowledge Country at important gatherings and recognise significant occasions such as National Reconciliation Week. These practices help create a welcoming environment where every child and family feels valued.

Opportunities

We incorporate First Nations perspectives throughout our learning programs in alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework, helping children develop curiosity, empathy and respect for the world’s oldest continuing cultures. We are committed to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children’s cultural identity, wellbeing and sense of belonging while continually strengthening our practices.
